Reading…
Coffe Shop Conversations: Making the Most of Spiritual Small Talk // I’ve had this checked out from our friends’ library since February (yes I’m that person). I’m really liking it so far.
Watching…
the anime Fullmetal Alchemist. No, it’s not on Netflix, but you can watch here.
Trying…
Blog-tember! I want to be challenged and blog regularly.
Cooking…
brownies (or at least after this post is written). We had so much money left in the grocery envelope last month that we went to Target after church to buy milk and two splurge items. Anthony picked out tapatio and I picked out a box of brownie mix 🙂
Texting…
my friend Monica. My mom and sister are in my recent texts also.
Pinning…
All the Articles. I want to use Pinterest for more than just dream boards. I want it to be a place I can keep resources on writing and life. My favorite board of mine right now: Attitude & Perspective
Tweeting…
writing advice, about the Purpose Hotel, and advice about fear & comfort zones & people. Oh and about the movie Spotlight. (It’s on Netflix!)
Going…
to my desk in the morning to write and then Devo Night in the evening. We were going to head out early in the morning for Bodega Bay and see the ocean again, but we want Anthony rested up for the week ahead.
Loving…
that it’s a three-day weekend. (It’s Sunday night at 8:17 as I type this and I am so excited that I have the day off. It means another morning in my pajamas with coffee and writing and books).
Discovering…
that the dates and to-do’s I set are self-imposed, and I’m allowed to change them if I want to. It’s good to have a schedule, to be productive and intentional but rest and grace and fun are good for me.
Thinking…
about how weird it is to write this on Sunday night when it will go out tomorrow morning (lol), but also about All The Writing Projects I want to stat this month.
Feeling…
happy, calm, at peace, content.
Hoping to…
stay up-to-date on this blogging challenge, attend a write-in Tuesday evening, and make an Amy Story revision plan this week.
Listening to…
the STORY podcast’s second episode, interview with Nikki Giovanni. This lady met Rosa Parks! (I dressed up as Rosa Parks for a 4th grade book report and have loved her ever since). And now I need to check out her books. Oh, yes, and Anthony’s video game noises 🙂
Celebrating…
that I’m writing, that I hung up all our clean clothes (including the ones from last week), and that the dished are washed. And that someone in my community is selling all three LOTR movies from $1 and we are picking them up tonight!
Ordering…
my thoughts and ideas. There are so many floating around my head right now I think I’ll make a list after this.
Thanking…
my God that I am where I am. We have a great church family and family-family. Reflecting on my summer in Day 3’s challenge really made me realize that adventures aren’t limited to Italy or Paris or Japan or cross-country road trips. That we can have adventures right here in Northern California—and in Santa Monica and Monterey, in bookstores and grovery stores and even Taco Bell.
Considering…
the words of all the articles I read today: on house cleaning, noodles, and all the Toms. and the words we were taught in the Romans study this morning.
Starting…
to wind-down. My eyes are sleepy and the brownie mix is calling to me
Finishing…
up this post and this Sunday.

Until next time, Tracy 🙂
