Family Photos // Voylerwoodfam 2020

Anthony, my sister, and brother-in-law (more commonly referred to as Silas-in-law) gifted Mom a family photo shoot for her birthday this year. The last time The Voyles took family photos was December of . . . 2012? It was the year Ant and I were engaged and it was Christmas time . . . yep! December 2012.

So much Life has happened in EIGHT YEARS! Kady and I are both married now (6 and 7 years respectively) and Kady has two babies! Well, a 4-year old and a baby haha but I lovingly refer to them as “the babies.”

So I present to you these beautiful family photos by a dear friend of my sister and brother-in-law. In the midst of COVID-19 and lock downs and shelter-in-places, my family are the people we’ve been seeing the most regularly and it has been so good for heart and soul. I love them all to pieces. In the famous words of my sister, “I just want to squeeze them!” (She says it about everything she thinks is cute and 4-year old Azzie May picked it up a few years ago haha)

Azzie-girl made me and auntie and Sayer is definitely getting a better version of Auntie Tracy. I love these “babies” so much.

And they’re definitely teaching Anthony how to be an Uncle. His sister’s kids refer to him as “Uncle Ant”. Maybe that will extend to the #voylerwood side as well haha

And in all the wonderfulness that is open grass for a 4-year old Azzie May specifically asked if she could take a photo with Uncle. All the heart-eye emojis!

This grampa is the best Gramps. My childhood would have been so different without him and Gramma. I’m so thankful he’s still here and that Azzie and Sawyer have “Gwampa” in their lives as well.

My parents at the cutest! I have learned so much from them and they’ve let me flourish into a mostly independent adult human. It’s so cool to watch them be Papa and Tutu.

The sibs! I love that we all like and love each other and that Kady and I like our other halves! It makes life way more fun this way!

Dear Boo Boo Butt, I have no idea what I would do without you. I love you to the moon and back. You know this already. Sincerely, Trinky ❀

And last but not least, me with better, taller, funnier, more logical half. Anthony Paul, you know this just like the seester does: I don’t know what I’d do without you. I love you to the moon and back. You are the sun to my moon. We just celebrated seven married years and next month we’ll cross that 10-years together milestone #insaneinthemembrane (I learned that from you haha) I love your squinty-eyed smile. You have my heart forever and ever.

You guys, 2020 has been a weird year. Potential celebrations, milestones, birthdays, anniversaries, random/spontaneous friend hangouts, in-person D&D sessions, game nights . . . so much have been taken from us. But something lock downs, shelter-in-places, and face masks can’t take away from us is our love of our people, our family, and the rest of the humans out their in the world experiencing COVID-19 right along with us.

Being able to see my #voylerwoodfam during this strange time has been a huge comfort and it’s been good for my soul to see them often. Voylerwoodfam, I love you all to the moon and back!

xoxo, Tracy
